When trying to update Diablo III to 2.0.1, I was greeted with my Mac (10.9.2) being stuck on reconfiguring files for hours. This finally generated an error that my Mac did not have enough space to complete the update, this was very strange because I had about 180GB free on the drive I was attempting to install on. After doing some digging, I noticed my Diablo 3 folder had ballooned to over 100GB in size. I removed the Battle.net app, all Blizzard games, and all associated folders in user/shared/. I reinstalled the Battle.net app, but now can not use it to re-install any game. Any time I try to install a game, the progress bar will not move and the game's respective folder will balloon and eat up my drive space. I have removed everything again and re-installed the Battle.net app countless times and the behavior persist. I just wish to play Diablo III, any ideas on how to get it installed? Also, can the constant ballooning of the folders' size hurt the SSD I am trying to install on? Help! Thank You!!! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
