Hello,
I have Ford Focus 2007, 1.6 Petrol engine. Last serviced April 2017. Was in very good condition. However last sunday it stopped on the road, while stopping it made bit of mechanical sound, as if something hitting other component.
A friend of mine suggesting, either the crankshaft or pulley is broken. He is saying so because starter motor is turning but engine is not. As per him, it is better to scrap the car as repairing would be very expensive
can you please advice what best we can do
